The association pursues the following objectives: to unite aestheticians in the fields of aesthetics (CFC), vital aesthetics and medical aesthetics (BF); to support professionals in the start-up and development of their activities; to promote and defend their interests vis-à-vis third parties, interprofessional bodies and cantonal and federal administrative institutions, as well as before various registers or private or semi-private bodies related to the fields of aesthetics and medical aesthetics in Switzerland, whose cooperation is essential for the exercise of the aesthetician profession; to participate in the development and promotion of new technologies (laser, permanent hair removal, etc.); to promote collaboration between actors in neighboring disciplines; to promote the development and implementation of professional training and continuing education courses, as well as the exchange of knowledge among aesthetics professionals; to promote and support the development of the Steps by Steps magazine (information, communication, etc.); to promote the new training course for the Federal Certificate in Aesthetics for the disciplines of medical and vital aesthetics; to support and promote aesthetics championships (for complete purpose see statutes).
