To promote encounters across countries in order to foster understanding and solutions to human, social and conflict-related problems of our time; to explore new avenues for foreign trade through structures made available by each country, namely its diplomatic and consular corps; to develop public, human and information relations; to facilitate cultural and economic exchange between peoples of all nationalities; to provide diplomatic, moral, economic and social support to the most needy populations; to promote the declaration of human rights, in accordance with the United Nations Charter; to promote peace in its broadest conception, including the choice of non-violence, human security at the universal level, peaceful coexistence, recognition and appreciation of the differences that exist between individuals and peoples, including a total rejection of war, refusal of oppressive economic structures, and elimination of the causes of social inequalities; to promote and protect human rights and the rights of peoples, equality and equal dignity between men and women, between races, religions and cultures; to favour the conservation, preservation and protection of the environment and ecological processes necessary to guarantee natural balance (cf. statutes for full purpose).
