FORUM OF YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERS

To promote and encourage the creation of an international forum of accomplished young leaders who demonstrate particular leadership qualities and a commitment to society; they come from countries around the world and from all sectors of society, including culture, religion, politics, business, education, media, and civil society as a whole, and are committed to addressing critical, globally, regionally, and nationally important issues in a constructive and innovative manner; the foundation serves as a global platform for young leaders to be a voice for the future in global thought processes and a catalyst for collective action when necessary; to achieve these goals, the Foundation acts not only as a community but also interacts and cooperates with the communities of the World Economic Forum, particularly in relation to the economy, politics, intellectuals, and other leaders of society (cf. statutes for full purpose).
