The MIMA Association aims to design, develop and implement projects with social, environmental, scientific and productive impact, contributing in particular to the ecological transition, sustainable innovation and the autonomy of territories. To this end, it pursues, inter alia, the following objectives: the creation, experimentation and continuous improvement of innovative systems, methodologies, infrastructures and models; the development of research, development and innovation (R&D) activities in the fields of, inter alia, sustainable food, energy, recycling, water and the environment; the promotion of self-sufficient, circular, reproducible and evolving models; the design, operation or support of infrastructures such as micro-bio-districts or other pilot units related to the ecological transition; cooperation with public or private entities, in Switzerland and internationally, in compliance with Swiss law.
