The objectives of the association are as follows: to serve, promote and protect the common and collective interests of the National Olympic Committees (NOCs); to collaborate with and be recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in order to serve and promote the objective of the Olympic Movement and its fundamental principles in accordance with the Olympic Charter; to collaborate with Olympic Solidarity to promote programs that enhance and improve the well-being of NOCs and ensure an effective distribution of resources to NOCs; to promote, in collaboration with the IOC, universal principles of good governance within NOCs; to recognize and collaborate with continental associations and cooperate with other organizations that are part of the Olympic Movement; to discourage and prevent all forms of illegal discrimination based on race, religion, political opinions, sex or other grounds; to create and award prizes corresponding to the objectives of the Association; to organize all types of events, gatherings, festivals and activities and take all other actions and steps that promote the achievement of these objectives.
