To support the FIDH in carrying out its mandate and objectives aimed at defending and implementing the principles set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and all international and regional instruments relating to civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights, and in favor of a healthy environment. It works for the effective, universal, and indivisible application of these conventions and pacts. Its protection activities target all men and women, everywhere in the world. It asserts that men and women enjoy the same equal and inalienable rights inherent to the human species. The Association will contribute to the implementation of the FIDH's global strategy and its various programs and projects covering all regions of the world. The objectives of the Association are as follows: International Advocacy: Carry out advocacy actions with the United Nations and other international organizations on behalf of the FIDH. Support for human rights defenders worldwide: Provide a platform for human rights defenders, and promote and protect all rights. Representation: Officially represent the members and partners of the FIDH in Geneva and Switzerland as well as victims of human rights. Fundraising and partnerships: Raise funds and establish sustainable partnerships with various stakeholders in order to support the FIDH in its mission. The Association is non-profit.
