The association aims to coordinate local animation in the municipalities of Val-de-Charmey, Crésuz and Châtel-sur-Monsalvens; support the municipalities in establishing their tourism strategy; collect voluntary contributions and tourist tax based on the financing grid for local animation; defend the interests of the Val-de-Charmey, Châtel-sur-Monsalvens and Crésuz territories for the financing of local projects by regional funds; promote all tourist activities on the territory as defined in Article 1, paragraph 1; ensure, through its members, regular information to all partners affected by tourism in the concerned area. Its tasks include: a) planning, executing and monitoring local animation activities and coordinating the agenda of these events; b) promoting and defending the natural, historical, cultural and traditional heritage of the region. In this sense, it collaborates closely with the managers of the Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Nature Park (PNR); c) proposing structures and services in line with its objectives; d) collaborating with organizers of events, animations and shows of tourist and local interest. The association may also develop any activity related to local tourism that generates new revenue.
