The association does not pursue any commercial purposes and does not strive for profit. The goals of the association are: a) Strengthening bilateral dialogue between Ukrainian and Swiss society within the framework of mutual tolerance and appreciation; b) Promoting cultural, social, scientific and economic cooperation between Switzerland and Ukraine; c) Preserving and promoting Ukrainian traditions and Ukrainian identity in Switzerland; d) Raising awareness of Ukraine's cultural and historical heritage; e) Expanding and strengthening social relationships of people of Ukrainian descent in Swiss society; f) Developing and promoting intellectual and creative abilities as well as the mental and physical potential of people of Ukrainian descent in Switzerland; g) Protecting and representing the interests of people in need from Ukraine through organizational and financial measures. The purpose of the association shall be achieved, among other things, through the following measures: a) Dissemination of information about Ukraine and the work of the association using printed materials, mass media and the internet; b) Organization and implementation of art exhibitions, music, dance and film festivals, theater performances and concerts; conferences, congresses, forums and roundtable discussions; seminars, lectures, educational courses and summer schools; awareness campaigns, demonstrations and protest actions; excursions, encounter trips to Ukraine and encounters with Ukrainians in Switzerland, etc.; c) Collection and forwarding of donations to humanitarian aid centers, hospitals, schools, orphanages, nursing homes and other institutions and initiatives for the care of people in need from Ukraine in Switzerland and Ukraine; d) Building partnerships as well as coordinating and implementing joint initiatives, events or projects with private individuals, organizations and institutions interested in Ukraine; e) Close partnership cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine in the Swiss Confederation as well as cantons and municipalities; f) Development of stamps, emblems, logos and other signs of the association's requisites; g) Opening of foreign representations of the association; i) Implementation of other activities that are in line with the goals of the association.
