Barakah Charity International works globally to support disadvantaged people and communities, particularly those affected by poverty, emergencies, and social exclusion. It promotes sustainable development, provides access to water, education, and protection for particularly vulnerable groups such as orphans, refugees, and asylum seekers, and provides assistance through sponsorships, food support, and other social projects. As an international specialist organization, competence hub, and coordination platform in the field of humanitarian aid, Barakah Charity International aims to collaborate with partner organizations, promote expertise, and have a strong and united voice in the interest of disadvantaged people and communities. The main tasks of Barakah Charity International include, in particular, immediate and disaster relief, sustainable development projects such as well construction and basic supplies, support for children and orphans through care, education, and sponsorships, food and medical aid for particularly disadvantaged people, education and integration of refugees and asylum seekers, coordination of activities, the organization of expert exchanges, the development of benchmarks for operational activities, and the provision of services to their partner organizations, knowledge and information transfer, as well as the promotion of expertise and the initiation of innovations in the humanitarian field. To promote the association's purpose, it works with various national and international aid organizations. The association can also send volunteers for its own projects as well as projects of partner organizations and perform the tasks related to the organization and execution of the deployment. The association does not pursue commercial purposes, is not profit-oriented, and is denominationally and politically neutral.
