The cooperative aims to provide its members with good and affordable housing through mutual self-help and shared responsibility. It strives to offer spaces (rental properties such as apartments, hobby rooms) to all segments of the population, particularly singles, families, people with special needs, and seniors. It promotes community living in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. The cooperative can enter into any business and conclude contracts that are suitable for promoting the purpose of the cooperative, as well as acquire, manage, and sell properties and land. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by profit. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with similar or identical goals. It can be a member of the Swiss Housing Cooperatives Association, the Association of Non-Profit Housing Developers. The cooperative is politically and denominationally neutral.
