The cooperative creates, rents, and sells innovative apartments in urban environments. For this purpose, it can acquire, encumber, and dispose of undeveloped and developed properties and building rights. Commercial spaces can also be rented in residential properties. The cooperative aims to provide its members with housing. The cooperative's activities are not profit-driven. To the extent that the cooperative receives support services from the city of Zurich for properties, the cooperative will follow the city's requirements regarding the requirements for housing providers supported by the city of Zurich. Members are obliged to occupy the apartments they rent themselves. Exceptions can be approved by the cooperative. In view of the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad, the apartments must serve as the main residence for members of foreign nationality at the place of their lawful and actual place of residence.
