The pursuit of the purpose is carried out in mutual self-help and co-responsibility of the members. The purpose of the cooperative is: operation and maintenance of the irrigation network owned by the local municipality. This includes in particular pumping stations, pipelines, wells, hydrants as well as the management of the permits issued by the canton for the withdrawal of water for the irrigation of agricultural crops; supply of water for irrigation purposes to the members of the cooperative. The administration may exceptionally, in the presence of special circumstances, supply water to third parties who are not members of the cooperative. For this, a special agreement must be made.
