The association pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes, in the sense of tax privileges according to the provisions of Swiss tax law. The goal of the association is to use humanitarian and cultural activities and the funds collected from them to promote and finance sustainable village development in terms of cultural, social, infrastructural, and ecological development in the Bigrenica region of Serbia. The focus is particularly on promoting and financing projects that are exclusively bound to the association's purpose, which thus aim to sustainably realize the common good, including the preservation of cultural heritage, environmental protection, improvement of the quality of life of all inhabitants of Bigrenica, and the necessary infrastructure on site. The purpose of the association includes in particular: 1. Preservation and development of the region: Promotion and support of initiatives and measures for the preservation and renewal of existing buildings, infrastructure, and facilities, as well as their sustainable use and management; 2. Cultural heritage: Revitalization and preservation of traditional festivals, customs, and handicrafts in Bigrenica; 3. Environmental protection and sustainability: Promotion of biodiversity, ecological agriculture, and projects for the protection of the environment and climate; 4. Education and social integration: Provision of educational and further training opportunities, especially for children and young people, to promote equal opportunities and individual development. Support for the village school and its students; 5. International cooperation: Building partnerships with organizations and institutions at home and abroad to promote knowledge transfer and sustainable development; 6. Special projects: The association's focus is on projects in Bigrenica that have a sustainable impact on village development. In particular, it concentrates on infrastructure, culture, environmental protection, and education to maintain or optimize the quality of the village for the general well-being of the villagers. These projects are planned and implemented in cooperation with local partners; 7. Non-profit nature The Bigrenica association does not pursue commercial goals and does not strive for profit. The organs and members are active on a voluntary basis, and all financial resources are used to achieve the association's purpose.
