The foundation's purpose is to support education, research and improve the quality of care in orthopedic surgery. The foundation will thus be able to help medical students complete their studies (financial support) and improve their knowledge in orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the locomotor system (by creating intern positions). The foundation will fund postgraduate training positions in orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the locomotor system (doctors who will be able to come and receive in-depth training in the various subspecialties of orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the locomotor system). The foundation will help surgeons continue their education (financial assistance for continuing education). The foundation will support researchers (students or doctors) in the realization of research projects and/or their publications. To achieve its main purpose, the foundation provides the following services: sponsorship support for medical students, provision of advice and funding for training, organization of observation internships, financial support to achieve the main purpose, payment of publication fees in scientific journals, financial support for attending conferences, workshops and symposia, financial support for obtaining administrative or scientific support necessary for the completion of scientific work. Within the framework of its defined goals, the foundation operates in the Swiss territory. The foundation is of public utility, it pursues a disinterested purpose and has no lucrative aim.
