The allocation of chemistry scholarships to young people residing in or affiliated with the municipalities of the Tre Valli region (Blenio, Riviera and Leventina districts) who primarily attend the University of Basel and, secondarily, to chemistry students from the same region attending other Swiss universities (including federal polytechnics and professional universities). If it is not possible to award scholarships to chemistry students, they may be awarded to biochemistry students. If it is not possible to award scholarships to students residing in or affiliated with the municipalities of the Tre Valli region, they may be awarded to students from the entire Ticino region. The awarding of a specific prize to students of the Liceo Cantonale di Bellinzona who have achieved the best scientific maturity. The Foundation has a public utility purpose and is non-profit.
