The association aims to provide humanitarian aid and sustainable support to people in economic and social distress in developing countries, particularly in crisis and disaster areas. This purpose is fulfilled, among other things, through a) emergency aid: provision of food, medicine, shelters, as well as material, financial and psychological assistance to displaced persons and victims of violence and disaster; b) education and protection: support for schools, orphanages and training centers; c) sustainable financial support: assistance in building small businesses in economic and social distress to achieve sustainable economic independence. The association can take all necessary measures to achieve its purpose. In particular, it represents the interests of its members vis-à-vis the authorities and the public and can take political measures or legal action. The association is politically neutral and denominationally independent. No economic purposes and thus no profit-making or self-help purposes are pursued.
