The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees of the company and economically or financially closely related companies, as well as for their dependents and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, death and disability. The affiliation of a related company is made on the basis of a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation can provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits. The foundation board issues the necessary regulations on benefits, organization, management, asset management, provisions and reserves, financing, and control of the foundation. It regulates the relationship with employers, insured persons, and beneficiaries. The regulations can be amended by the foundation board, while preserving the acquired rights of the beneficiaries. Regulations and their amendments must be submitted to the supervisory authority. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing ones, provided it is the policyholder and beneficiary itself.
