The foundation's purpose is to provide occupational pension provision for employees of the Haleon Group of Companies' legal entities in Switzerland (hereinafter: the Company and employer) and companies that are economically or financially closely related to it (hereinafter: employers), as well as for their dependents and survivors, against the economic consequences of old age, disability and death. A company that is economically or financially closely related may join through a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The Foundation may provide more extensive benefits than the minimum statutory benefits. No benefits from the Foundation's assets, except for payments for pension purposes, may be paid to fulfill employers' legal obligations or which they normally pay as remuneration, such as cost-of-living allowances, family allowances and child allowances, bonuses, etc. To achieve its purpose, the Foundation may enter into insurance contracts or join existing contracts, but it must be the policyholder and beneficiary itself.
