CAMFED Switzerland (Circle of Friends)

The association is exclusively non-profit and does not pursue any commercial purposes. The association aims to support the work of the CAMFED consortium, which was founded many years ago with the goal of providing relief from poverty, suffering and hardship to marginalized young people in poor communities in sub-Saharan Africa, with a particular focus on girls and young women. The sole purpose of the association in Switzerland is to promote the work of CAMFED and to raise funds for its purposes. To this end, the association approves the 'CAMFED Consortium Governance Code' and declares that it will comply with all applicable operating guidelines and CAMFED governance standards. Furthermore, CAMFED International will conclude a license agreement with the association and grant the association a royalty-free license to use the name CAMFED in Switzerland. The association is neutral in terms of religion and politics.
