The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, as well as acquire, establish, hold, finance and manage participations in companies and undertakings in Switzerland and abroad. The company may acquire, hold and sell real estate and intellectual property rights in Switzerland and abroad. The company may engage in all commercial, financial and other activities that are directly or indirectly related to the purpose of the company. The company may grant direct or indirect financing to third parties, including companies in which it is directly or indirectly involved, as well as direct or indirect shareholders or companies in which such parties are directly or indirectly involved, whether through loans or other financing, and provide security of any kind for their liabilities, including through pledges on or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or through guarantees of any kind, whether for consideration or not, even if such financing or security is in the exclusive interest of companies in which it is directly or indirectly involved or of direct or indirect shareholders or companies in which such parties are directly or indirectly involved. The company may enter into cash pooling agreements with other group companies.
