The foundation aims to initiate and promote all suitable measures for the global protection of the environment, nature, and vital ecosystems. It is particularly committed to the preservation of biological diversity and the fight against climate change. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can take all means that appear suitable to it, support measures, carry out campaigns and actions, and collaborate with other organizations and promote third-party projects, provided that these are exempt from tax liability due to the pursuit of charitable or public purposes. Furthermore, to achieve its purpose, the foundation can participate in companies, financially support them, and establish subsidiaries both domestically and abroad, provided that this is done to a subordinate extent. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may use both the returns of the foundation's assets and the foundation's assets themselves. The foundation pursues exclusively charitable purposes and is not profit-oriented. The founder reserves the right to explicitly change the foundation's purpose in accordance with Article 86a of the Swiss Civil Code.
