The foundation pursues exclusively charitable purposes and neither commercial nor self-help purposes. Its main purposes include: construction and support of primary and secondary schools, predominantly, but not exclusively, in rural communities in Africa. Promotion and support of E-Learning products for the development of learning-enhancing content for students and teachers in developing countries. Financial support of graduate research in the field of electrical engineering at universities, predominantly in Europe. The board of trustees can select projects and beneficiaries based on their assessment of each project's potential to achieve the foundation's goals. Beneficiaries can be any charitable, tax-exempt organization that can effectively implement these goals. The foundation may in particular cooperate with and/or support other organizations. It may establish and operate or merge with other legal entities if the purpose allows.
