CATALYTIC FINANCE FOUNDATION (Catalytic)

To help identify, develop and implement sustainable climate infrastructure projects and nature-based solutions; to do this, the Foundation facilitates the relationship and trust between: - Elected officials and public servants in charge of public policy and infrastructure development at regional, national and subnational levels; - Entrepreneurs and project leaders who have technical solutions and services with a positive impact; - Public and private investors, to work together on bankable project portfolios; among its activities, the Foundation works with relevant partners to create investment vehicles with different geographic and thematic orientations, using "mixed financing" models; these investment vehicles aim to i) help develop projects with dedicated technical assistance and ii) invest in sustainable project portfolios; the investment vehicles will have their own legal identity and will be managed by a professional third-party fund manager unrelated to the Foundation; the investment activities of these vehicles are outside the scope of the Foundation; the projects supported by the Foundation include, but are not limited to, waste management, sanitation, regenerative agriculture, transportation, energy efficiency, renewable energy production and nature-based solutions; the Foundation promotes collaboration with international, multilateral and bilateral development organizations, financial institutions, companies, non-governmental organizations, civil society, academic institutions, spiritual and religious institutions; the Foundation aims to be a catalyst for cooperation and partnership with stakeholders around sustainable infrastructure projects with positive social and environmental impacts on the one hand and a return on investment on the other; the Foundation promotes the public interest and has a non-profit purpose; the foundation is independent and does not defend any interests, whether political or ideological; the foundation does not lobby for private companies and their products; in its activities, the Foundation conducts itself with independence, neutrality and impartiality.
