The association's objectives are: To provide for the needs of the Muslim community in the religious, cultural, social, and sports domains, with particular attention given to children and young people; To establish and develop close contacts among the community members and to foster ties of dialogue and cooperation with other associations and institutions with similar objectives; To provide its faithful with a premises that offers a place for prayer and meetings; To defend the religious interests of its faithful before the authorities. To this end, the association is authorized to acquire or build any properties and, in general, to carry out any operations necessary to achieve this goal, to request and receive official or private subsidies from Switzerland or abroad, to conclude any useful agreements with public or private bodies from Switzerland or abroad.
