To represent, promote and defend the interests of the commerce, industry and services of Switzerland and Tunisia. Its activities include, in particular: a) The study and discussion of economic and industrial problems with a view to identifying the general interest of the economy of Switzerland and Tunisia; b) All initiatives and interventions aimed at improving economic conditions, particularly those whose work under a) above would have demonstrated the opportunity; c) The defense, before the authorities and public administrations, of the professional, general and individual interests of its members; d) Collaboration with the Swiss and Tunisian federal, cantonal and municipal authorities for the study of economic problems and the elaboration of treaties, laws and regulations with economic implications; e) The development of relations with economic groups in Switzerland and Tunisia; f) Services to members, in the form of information, advice and assistance, in the economic, commercial and legal fields; g) The management of conflicts in whatever form by mediation and arbitration; h) The putting into contact of the different commercial partners and the search for outlets; i) The elaboration and management, for the business world, of economic documentation and the publication of economic works, notably an annual report; j) The organization of assemblies, conferences and seminars of an economic nature.
