The association aims to encourage:
a. Coordination and development of commercial, industrial, financial, sports and cultural relations between Switzerland (CH) and Iraq (IRQ),
b. Development of collaboration opportunities in the aforementioned fields between the two countries,
c. Promotion of the exchange of goods, services and capital between the two countries,
d. Creation of partnerships between companies of the two countries,
e. Provision of information to its members to help them develop their economic activities,
g. Offering its services, as desired, as a mediator or even an arbitrator in case of conflicts between two companies, and in general,
f. Promotion of the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The CHAMBER, while being a fully autonomous association, operates in liaison with the economic expansion services of Switzerland and Iraq. The CHAMBER can establish local entities to create a network of associations or offices and become the umbrella association of its local entities, and in particular, the member countries of the EFTA. The CHAMBER is a non-governmental organization (NGO). Finally, the CHAMBER may proceed with the acquisition of real estate and take a stake in any company or body contributing to the achievement of its social purpose.
