The purpose of the Association is to support and promote, in Switzerland and abroad, the development of the philanthropic sector and non-profit organizations as well as projects and actions in the charitable, humanitarian, scientific, medical, educational, cultural, social and environmental fields. In pursuit of this purpose, the Association may: support charitable and non-profit organizations; support humanitarian action; provide funding to educational programs and schools, higher education institutions and medical research institutes, provide scholarships or grants to students, doctoral students or academics; provide philanthropic and technical assistance to individuals and organizations to enable them to give more effectively. The Association may support other associations or non-profit organizations that pursue the same purpose. The Association is non-profit. The Association is entitled to engage in any activities necessary to achieve its purpose.
