CIVIL AID ORGANIZATION (CAO)

To promote human rights, particularly economic and social rights and children's rights; to inform public and private institutions in Switzerland and worldwide about the precarious situation of certain Sudanese children involved in armed conflicts; to organize seminars and orientation cycles on international conventions on children's rights; to include children's rights programs in development projects; to mobilize human resources to ratify and implement international treaties on children's rights, and to act to reduce problems related to poverty, lack of education, food and health of Sudanese children; to establish and maintain research and databases on human rights; to contribute to networks in order to share experiences and exchange information and ideas on human rights.
