The purpose of the foundation is to provide young people with a good professional education, desirable further education and training in a profession in cases where no or insufficient means are available from the beneficiary or their relatives, public scholarships or social insurance benefits. The beneficiaries of the foundation's services should include not only children and young people but also adults who need to reorient themselves professionally due to restructuring. Preference should be given to persons who are legally resident in Switzerland. Descendants of Swiss citizens living abroad may also be considered. The beneficiaries should be enabled by the foundation's assistance to assert themselves in their lives through their own meaningful professional activity despite personal problems or disadvantages. Assistance for training in mere hobbies is excluded.
