Support for families, corporations, municipalities and similar entities in financially strained circumstances in the mountain regions of Switzerland, particularly in the cantons of Glarus and Schwyz, while taking due account of the concerns of nature and homeland conservation. Promotion of research and support for projects and institutions in the field of pediatrics, and in exceptional cases, medical assistance for a needy child whose medical care is not possible otherwise. The Foundation Board decides independently and finally within the framework of the statutes on the allocation of foundation funds and the granting of benefits. The main focus of support should generally be on aid in favor of the mountain regions. The Foundation Board may issue a corresponding implementing regulation. The beneficiaries have no enforceable claims against the foundation.
