The foundation aims to improve the living conditions of cocoa farmers and their communities by promoting sustainable, entrepreneurial agriculture and its productivity, as well as social development, including the protection of nature and children. The foundation operates in cocoa-producing countries, particularly in Africa, South and Central America, and Asia, within the framework of this purpose. To achieve the foundation's purpose, the foundation can develop and implement its own projects or participate in projects, or support them through financial contributions or provide other forms of assistance. Furthermore, the foundation can take all necessary measures to achieve its purpose, including establishing foundations, similar purpose assets or companies in Switzerland and abroad, participating in companies, and acquiring, encumbering and disposing of real estate. The foundation can have tasks carried out in whole or in part by third parties. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
