The company, as an investment company within the meaning of Article 2, paragraph 3 of the Federal Act on Collective Investment Schemes (CISA), aims to make investments in companies, corporations and financial market instruments of any kind in Switzerland and abroad, excluding activities that require a license or registration under Swiss financial market laws. The company may, in particular, acquire, hold, manage and dispose of direct and indirect participations in companies of any kind in Switzerland and abroad. The company may also provide financing for participations of any kind in Switzerland and abroad, excluding activities that require a license or registration under Swiss financial market laws. The company may grant loans or other financing to its direct or indirect parent company as well as to its direct or indirect subsidiaries and provide security of any kind for liabilities of such other companies, including by way of pledges on or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or guarantees of any kind, whether against payment or not. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad and acquire, hold, manage and dispose of real estate. The company may also conclude all transactions and enter into agreements that directly or indirectly serve the company's purpose or are directly related thereto.
