To provide its members, through their joint action, with housing built by and for the inhabitants at a reasonable price, in particular within the framework of the General Housing Law (LGL) and the protection of tenants of 4 December 1977. To this end, it strives to: a) acquire building land in superficies or ownership; b) build residential buildings; c) carry out environmentally friendly designs; d) acquire residential buildings for renovation; e) rent apartments to its members at favorable conditions; f) promote associative management of common spaces and sociocultural and intergenerational exchanges. The company prohibits any speculative operation and pursuing a profit motive. The company prohibits transforming any operation carried out with state support or on land sold or made available in superficies by a public authority into a condominium at a later stage. The company rents its apartments to its members. The Cooperative may participate in companies pursuing an identical or similar purpose and acquire membership in umbrella organizations of public utility housing cooperatives. In this regard, it adheres to the Charter of the Groupement des coopératives d'habitation genevoises (GCHG). In its activities, the Cooperative aligns itself with the principles set out in the 'Charter of Public Utility Contractors'.
