The Coubertin meets Dunant Foundation aims to promote sport and passion as a means of understanding, integration (through movement and encounter) and education in Switzerland and abroad. It emphasizes intercultural dialogue with the goal of overcoming borders, eliminating ideological barriers, enabling new encounters, creating connections and inspiring social change based on the values of humanism and mutual respect. The programs supported by the Foundation primarily support young people in their development and encourage them to pursue their own passions, dreams, talents and potential, and to develop into personalities who actively shape our future. Participants in some programs also have the opportunity to obtain a recognized school diploma from educational institutions selected by the Foundation. The Foundation launches its own programs and/or can finance programs from third parties within the framework of the Foundation's purpose. The Foundation can also support programs that pursue similar goals to the programs for young people or that target other groups of people, provided they promote the Foundation's goals. In pursuing its purpose, the Foundation also aligns itself with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly 'Quality Education' through the promotion of future skills and talent development, 'Gender Equality' and 'Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions'. The Foundation can also promote passions in the field of art and culture or support programs that support the Foundation's purpose, in the spirit of the competitions of the former Olympic Games (1912-1948). Any change in purpose is excluded. The Foundation is neutral in terms of denomination and politics, has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose. It is not profit-oriented. There is no legal entitlement of third parties to the granting of foundation funds.
