CPC AG manufactures CPC concrete slabs reinforced with prestressed carbon wire meshes (Carbon Prestressed Concrete) as thin, lightweight precast elements for bridge decks, walkways, balconies and other building components. The slabs (commonly 40 mm or 70 mm) are CNC-cut to shape, assembled in the factory and installed on site; the technology replaces steel reinforcement and the website cites potential resource and CO2 savings of up to 75%.
