The purpose of the association is the unification, spiritual care, and strengthening of believers in the Islamic creed. The fulfillment of this task is served by the religious care of believers from birth to death through conscientious pastoral care and active welfare work, and by offering a wide range of educational programs for men, women, and especially for children and young people. Through this, religious beliefs and knowledge, language, as well as historical, social, and cultural aspects of Islam are to be conveyed. Furthermore, the association aims to offer a comprehensive leisure program for children and young people to strengthen a sense of belonging. The association also aims to strengthen the legal status of people with an Islamic creed in Switzerland and will therefore cooperate with other organizations for this purpose.
