The association aims to promote trust, security, and quality of digital applications for children. It supports parents, professionals, and institutions in selecting suitable digital offerings, develops science-based standards and AI-supported evaluation systems for child-appropriate apps and technologies, and advocates for digital balance and ethical design in the children's sector. To achieve these goals, the association may also found subsidiaries (e.g., a stock corporation) or participate in such, provided they serve the association's purpose.
