Granting of contributions to the costs of medical care and hospital care for needy persons from the Obersimmental district, with priority given to mountain farming families and single parents. Furthermore, the foundation can also provide contributions for urgently needed necessities to a family or individual residing in the Obersimmental district who is in distress due to accident, illness or debt, such as for medical aftercare, family and household assistance, for chronically ill persons (MS patients, etc.) and for spa and institutional stays. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
