The foundation's purpose is to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the Federal Act on Occupational Retirement, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans (BVG) and its implementing provisions for the employees of the company and economically or financially related companies, as well as for their dependents and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, disability and death. By decision of the foundation board, companies that are financially or economically related to the company may also be affiliated with the foundation, with the consent of the company. The rights of the existing beneficiaries must not be impaired as a result. The affiliation of a related company is based on a written affiliation agreement. The foundation may provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support benefits in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment. It may also provide contributions or benefits to other pension institutions of its own beneficiary group. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, whereby it must be the policyholder and beneficiary itself.
