The foundation aims to support and enable non-profit, cultural, historical or other ideal purposes, in particular the support of projects that promote alternative energies and energy efficiency, especially in the district of Muri, preferably in the municipality of Geltwil. Furthermore, the foundation supports the "Geschichte Kloster Muri" foundation, the "Neues Klostermuseum Muri" project, the preservation, operation and use of the historically valuable ancestral home of the Käppeli family in Isenbergschwil (listed in the federal inventory) and other properties of historical significance. Additionally, the foundation supports the medical-historical book collection of Dr. F. Käppeli, enabling the Medical-Historical Chair of the University of Zurich to work on previously undescribed works in the context of dissertations. The foundation also aims to alleviate material hardship for families, individuals and institutions, promote the education and training of young people, particularly through the (partial) financing of training stays, support the music school in Muri, promote a healthy farming community, especially through assistance to needy farming families, especially in the district of Muri, preferably in the municipality of Geltwil. Finally, the foundation supports other non-profit foundations and projects, such as Ballenberg - Swiss Open-Air Museum for Rural Culture, Lungenliga Schweiz, Aids-Hilfe Schweiz, etc.
