The purpose of the association is to operate and promote, in the canton of Basel, an English-speaking international day and boarding school that offers high-quality bilingual education in the areas of preschool, compulsory kindergarten, primary level, lower secondary level (Sekundarstufe I) and upper secondary level (Gymnasium / High School). The school follows recognized international curricula, particularly the British and the frameworks of the International Baccalaureate (IB). The school is open to all children whose parents are seeking a private school and childcare facility that offers multilingual education at the highest academic level and places great emphasis on the holistic and character development of the students. The association may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad and may participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad as well as conduct all business that is directly or indirectly related to its purpose. The association may acquire, encumber, dispose of, and manage real estate in Switzerland and abroad. It may also provide financing on its own or another's account as well as provide guarantees and sureties for subsidiaries and third parties.
