Financial support from interest income for needy residents who have had their civil domicile in Maienfeld for at least five years and suffer from moderate to severe physical and/or mental disabilities. The financial support can be provided through one-time or recurring contributions. However, applicants must not already be supported locally according to the provisions of the applicable support legislation. If the interest income is not used for the intended purpose, it can be paid out to less fortunate residents who have had their civil domicile in Maienfeld for at least five years and are not locally supported, preferably in a balanced manner, on Christmas or New Year's.
