Empower Underprivileged Children Association is a non-profit organization with the purpose of supporting disadvantaged communities in Southeast Asia. The organization is open to expanding geographically, particularly in Asia. The organization primarily focuses on supporting children and adolescents. Adults may also receive support, especially - but not exclusively - if this improves their health and education situation or the socio-economic opportunities of entire communities. The organization's main activity is to support underprivileged children without parents or with parents who cannot fulfill their educational responsibilities, in order to provide these children with a safe and caring environment where they can receive adequate education and training, and as young adults, take their lives into their own hands. The organization achieves its goal in close collaboration with the affected communities. The organization's starting project is the sustainable support of KKEV Cambodia, which currently operates a children's village in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and a street children program in a slum in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The organization also undertakes various fundraising projects and activities in Switzerland and other countries that are conducive to the organization's goal. The organization can join national or international organizations that pursue the same or similar goals. The organization's purpose is not linked to profit-making or other self-interests of the organization or its members. The organization's activity is in the public interest, is exclusively non-profit, and does not aim to make a profit.
