The cooperative aims to provide its members with economic benefits through joint self-help by promoting renewable energies and sustainable energy use, as well as the storage of renewable energies, in particular through the production, storage, and trading of renewable energy; promoting projects to increase energy efficiency; generating energy from renewable resources using sustainable methods and preferentially supplying this to its members at a price advantage and marketing any surplus; offering consultations and other services in the areas of renewable energies and energy efficiency also to third parties; can join or support organizations and actions that it feels ideologically connected to; promoting the exchange of information among members and raising awareness among the population for energy issues through its activities; buying, selling, and encumbering real estate; leasing (roof) areas for the installation of photovoltaic and other systems; setting up, connecting, and operating photovoltaic and other systems; building and operating facilities for the generation or storage of renewable energies.
