The core activity of va-Q-tec is the development, production and distribution of: thin, high-performance vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) for insulation; intelligent temperature storage elements (PCMs) for reliable temperature control; and thermal packaging systems (boxes) that can maintain temperatures for food and pharmaceuticals without external energy supply for up to five days. The company focuses on the areas of thermal energy efficiency, temperature-controlled supply chains and thermal packaging, particularly for the food, pharmaceutical, construction, technology and industrial sectors.
