The foundation aims to promote, support and reward companies, in particular multinational corporations domiciled in Switzerland, as well as other companies domiciled in Switzerland that take effective measures to reduce negative climate impact. The foundation specifically pursues the goal of motivating, promoting and supporting companies that are active in the fields of economy and ecology. The economic activity of the companies to be supported must focus on promoting, integrating or developing sustainability in the areas of environment, ecology and resource use. To this end, the foundation can also support practice-oriented research and development as well as its own or third-party projects in the field of sustainability and business sciences. The support provided by the foundation is primarily through the evaluation and awarding of individuals and companies, as well as financial support for its own and third-party competitions. For this purpose, the foundation may enter into contracts and commitments. It can cooperate with other institutions and companies within the framework of the aforementioned purpose, enter into collaborations or support these organizations. Furthermore, the activity can be extended to other purposeful areas. The main area of activity is in Switzerland. The founder reserves the right, based on Art. 86a of the Swiss Civil Code and in compliance with the legal requirements, to change the purpose of the foundation.
