The objectives of European Aquatics are as follows: to promote and encourage the development of Aquatic Sports in Europe and to act as the governing body of Aquatic Sports in Europe; to promote and offer fair and clean sports and protect the integrity of Aquatic Sports; to promote safe Aquatic Sports and protect athletes from any form of harassment and abuse; to encourage participation in Aquatic Sports at all levels in Europe and around the world, regardless of age, sex or race, and to support activities aimed at promoting Aquatic Sports and swimming skills in general in all countries and making them accessible to individuals of all ages, genders, origins and abilities; to approve competitions and events organized by European Aquatics; to record European Records; to adopt the rules and regulations of competitions and events organized by European Aquatics; to promote and organize European Championships and other competitions and events; to promote the development of facilities for Aquatic Sports in Europe; to develop and support activities and programs promoting the sustainability of Aquatic Sports in all possible forms; to develop and support the education of athletes, coaches, administrators and all persons involved in Aquatic Sports; to undertake any other activity to encourage Aquatic Sports; and to promote and encourage the development of international sports relations and stimulate cooperation with World Aquatics, including: closely collaborating with World Aquatics to achieve the objectives mentioned in the Constitutional Rules of World Aquatics; holding consultative meetings to resolve issues related to the interests of European Aquatics, Continental Organizations and World Aquatics; coordinating with World Aquatics the promotion of Aquatic Sports through the organization of development programs, courses, seminars and conferences.
