The purpose of the foundation is to finance the occupational pension provision of the company and its affiliated companies. This is done by allocating employer contributions in accordance with Art. 331 para. 3 OR from funds specifically allocated and separately disclosed for this purpose to tax-exempt pension institutions or pension funds of collective and group foundations. In addition, the foundation can finance supplementary interest on retirement capital and rehabilitation contributions in the mandatory and non-mandatory occupational pension provision of employees. The foundation's free assets are to be used while maintaining equality before the law. By decision of the foundation board, which must be notified to the supervisory authority, companies economically or financially closely linked to the company may also be affiliated with the foundation.
