The association is based on the foundation of Christianity. It considers its task to be: promoting social behavior, equality for all people, and improving social conditions among all peoples and nations; it does not pursue any profits. To achieve this goal, it uses: a) Organization of study groups, congresses, round table discussions on a social basis, and concrete support for underprivileged people. The association can acquire the necessary rooms, properties, and accommodations for this purpose. b) Accompaniment and care of young people. c) Training, sending, and support of people who want to work abroad in the sense of the association. d) Living connection with these countries, above all through financial support, as a Swiss contribution to development cooperation. e) Construction of infrastructures, such as hospitals, schools, and training centers worldwide. f) Training of people on site within the framework of development cooperation (primary schools, secondary schools, adult education, vocational training by forces at the service of the association). g) Cultural: Maintenance of educational institutions at home and abroad, publication and dissemination of magazines, books, and other media, granting of scholarships to students worldwide.
