The core activity of ASA (Aide Senior Animaux) is to assist elderly people (65 years and older) in the care and maintenance of their pets. This includes various services such as: placement of pets with foster families or adoptive families when the owner is no longer able to care for the animal; walking and feeding services for pets when the owner is no longer able to do so themselves; support for the adoption of pets for seniors who wish to take in a new pet; and operation of a 'Maison d'ASA' (a type of animal shelter) where pets can be taken in when they can no longer stay with their owner. ASA is a non-profit foundation that advocates for the well-being of pets and their elderly owners.
